Crazy Weekend!

 Me and Devin

So my dad's friend Kim and her kids came down from Syracuse to stay with us for the weekend. They were here Thursday night to Sunday night. I had off from work Thurs-Sun by pure luck, and so I was able to spend the entire weekend at home.
We played video games, watched movies, covered ourselves in fairy tattoos, I got Mandi [age 5] to not only hold my snake, but kiss it, and then help me feed him, I ate an entire ice cream cake [again!], Zumba with Devin, photo shoot with Cariann, and we all dressed up and did "war paint" for Lasertron. It was so much fun! We went to Lasertron one afternoon and totally rocked it.

Brady's war paint [he looks like a ghost!]

I was dj for the youth dance at my church, and my dad and Kim were chaperons, and Devin came along as well. It was a blast! Devin showed off some of the sickest moves and everyone loved him. My dad and Kim were tearin' it up all night, and apparently I'm a good dj cause everyone kept giving me "thumbs up" all night long. I felt accomplished that's for sure.

Me again, I wanted to get some pics of the eye make up I did

I didn't blend the two colors very well

Sunday Cariann gave a talk in her ward at church so we all came to support her. She did a fabulous job. Although my mom was super pissed that my dad and Kim and all her kids were there. When she walked in and saw all of us she had this shocked and angry look on her face. Like someone had just slapped her real hard unexpectedly. After the meeting was over me and Ashlie went over to where my mom was sitting to try and say hi and to talk to her, but she was really cold to us. Saying "hi" and then when we tried to hold a conversation she leaned over to her father-in law and started whispering to him, completely ignoring us. I hate when she does that. It's not only rude, but completely immature. She's 41 years old. 13 year old girls act like that, not moms. Needless to say I was pretty hurt that she once again treated me in such a way. However it was a minor setback in my weekend.

Dad's hair after Kim ran her hands through it. haha!

When we got home from church we had a "Hodge-podge" where we ate all the leftovers in the fridge. Soooo delicious! BBQ chicken, mexican salad, chips and salsa, pancakes, you name it and we ate it for lunch! Sunday afternoon was spent playing board games, napping, and watching Spongebob on tv as a family. It was so nice. I was totally bummed when Kim and the kids left though, the house felt so empty with 4 less people in it! I love her kids. Tyler, Brady, and Mandi are so much fun! I can't wait for them to come back to play again next time. Miss you guys already! :]
